All she cares about is loving her people, playing with her toys/balls, figuring out who is going to love her next, and who will fall prey to her next kiss/lick. She has no desire to be the alpha/dominant dog, but sometimes she can act a little jealous of love and attention that we give to our personal dog. Her solution is to butt herself right into the mix, with a kiss and a huge smile on her face. She gets along GREAT with other dogs. Ripley loves to snuggle - anywhere, anytime. Her favorite sleeping position is on her back with all four legs in the air. She loves riding in the car, playing keepaway in the backyard, and going to the dog park. She is all about love and play, period. She is also not a drooler.</P> <P>At 18 months, she is still a puppy, and sometimes thinks she\'s about 10 pounds, not her true 125 pounds. She has become quite good at minding her manners and learning commands, but needs work on "stay". She is very smart, but can be stubborn once in a while. Her heart and soul are one of the sweetest around. She is done growing, but she is very strong & athletic and should receive regular exercise. She always has a "squeaker", a ball, a Kong, a bone - some kind of toy in her mouth! She will need to continue to have toys available to her in her forever home.</P> <P>Although Ripley has Epilepsy, you would never know it because she looks, acts and functions practically as normally as any other dog. Since December 2010, she has only had 3 seizures and those all occurred within one 24-hour period. Epilepsy medication is not very expensive, and seizures are manageable.</P> <P>Ripley truly is a special and unique Saint, especially because of her being a cow-faced smoothie. Because she was abused in the past, behavioral corrections with Ripley should be firm, yet gentle. Ripley is a beautiful, sweet, special, and funny Saint who will win over your heart!</P>',
              'bio': 'Hi, I\'m Ripley! I came to Rescue from the shelter because I had been injured ( somebody kicked me in the side with a boot ). I am completely healed now, and love being a puppy. I am what is called a "cow-face", meaning that I have no mask. I am a smoothie, and I am a very unique Saint Bernard. Shortly after my recovery from my injury, I was diagnosed with epilepsy. I will need to be on daily medication for the rest of my life, but I have been seizure-free for almost a full year now, and the Rescue people think that the meds are working very well. I love to play with other dogs, but I can be a bit obnoxious and irritating with them. I will neeed a home with a playmate, and will need an owner who is willing to keep working on obedience training, as I am growing up to be a very strong and athletic girl.' },

I am learning basic obedience training, and I have figured out my house-training ( except for when I occasionally mark in a new house ).
